From out of Birmingham UK, Heavy Beat Brass Band combine modern jazz, pop and funk with the heavy sounds of New Orleans Brass. Made up of 8 young professional musicians personally mentored by Keith Frazier of New Orleans own Rebirth Brass Band, Heavy Beat Brass Band brings the authentic sounds of Mardis Gras and New Orleans to the UK. Equally at home on the stage or as a marching band, HBBB have been doing the rounds and have now established themselves as firm favourites on the UK festival scene.
From out of Los Angeles US, Ninjula is known for his Grunge House, G-Swing, and Glitch Hop. Working on HBBB’s track Wasteman, Ninjula has remixed it into a stomping bass masterpiece with a fresh and exciting take. “Wasteman” tells the story of a stick up, with an ominous brass top line and vocal talents of SFZ. Keeping the catchy and recogniseable brass hook of the original but adding a healthy dose of bass and stomping beats, Ninjula has added a whole new dimension to the song.
