SPEKRFREKS (pronounced speaker freaks) come from San Francisco, CA. Musical collaborators since high school, this duo got their jump-start after being signed to remix Deadmau5 and Melleefresh in 2010, and helping to pioneer a popular Electro House sound. In 2013 they combined their love of 1920s Swing Music with hard-hitting Bass House and Glitch Hop using live instruments combined with electronic productions. This musical blend landed them in their first Beatport #1 spot, with several #1 and #2 charting positions to follow.
SPEKRFREKS most recent boundary-defying 11 track album titled ‘Roaring 2020s’ is full of catchy riffs and futuristic sounds which of course are going to grab remixers attentions. First up to be remixed is ‘Can’t Stop’, arguably one of the best Electro Swing tracks of recent years.
