From out of Birmingham UK, Heavy Beat Brass Band combine modern jazz, pop and funk with the heavy sounds of New Orleans Brass. Made up of 8 young professional musicians personally mentored by Keith Frazier of New Orleans own Rebirth Brass Band, Heavy Beat Brass Band brings the authentic sounds of Mardis Gras and New Orleans to the UK.

Equally at home on the stage or as a marching band, HBBB have been doing the rounds and have now established themselves as firm favourites on the UK festival scene.

Their new album “HBBB” features 8 tracks of original party starting heavy brass. The title track “#HBBB” kicks off the album with it’s super catchy top line and intoxicating groove. “Wasteman” tells the story of a stick up, with an ominous brass top line and vocal talents of SFZ.

The extremely fun and sassy “Fart Smunkey” brings the raw funk and a cheeky Sousaphone line you can’t ignore. Featuring Marcus Hubbard of the legendary Soul Rebels Brass Band “H for Shrimp” ups the tempo with some dope drum breaks and seriously soulful brass solo lines.
