to drop irresistable Electro Swing anthem ‘Gimme Your Number’
C@ In The H@ is back with another swing beat number, teaming up with two incredible singers, Emma Lea & Angie Brown for this saucy blend of styles. At the heart of the track is a solid swing beat and woodwind and brass section hook. Taking plenty of influence from old soul and vintage RnB and using modern production techniques, the old is most definitely fused with the new on this one.
On vocals, Emma Lea provides the cheeky top line vocal, with a tonnes of personality and charisma. Angie Brown, dance music icon, joins them with some incredible gospel-stlye backing vocals and powerful lines throughout the track.
The track is full of delicious instrumentation with a big hook provided by a brass and wood section with exciting sprinkles of solo trumpet and sax throughout. C@ In The H@ also provides us with a playful rhythm section, with a walking double bass and fun swung drum beat that you just can’t sit still to.
