Since the arrival of their self-titled EP on Ragtime Records in 2015, CATJAM have been busy building a reputation as one of the most exciting acts to emerge on the Vintage Remix scene in recent times.
Combining swing-era samples with a range of contemporary beats (including garage, jungle and thumping 4-to-the-floor house), their bass-laden, fast paced sets have been getting feet stomping and hips wiggling at a host of UK festivals, such as Boomtown Fair and Bestival, as well as putting in performances at some of the best electro-swing and vintage remix events in the land.
As if that wasn’t enough, Matt & Wom have been busy in the studio preparing fresh dollops of CATJAM goodness. Last year they won remix competitions for Flak Records and Freshly Squeezed, and are now looking forward to the release of their eagerly awaited follow up EP on Ragtime Records which promises to send the electro-swing genre in an exciting new direction!
